Your hair and makeup trial allows us both to get to know each other even better before your big day. It also provides an opportunity to see and feel your day-of look, so that by the time you’re ready to walk down the aisle, you’ll have the confidence to do so with style.

As an experienced hair and makeup artist, I always try to be prepared for every situation. You never know when you might need an extra safety pin, nail file or touchup lipstick.
Don’t worry, I’ve got you covered.
After so many weddings, I’ve created a day-of survival kit that I bring with me just in case. It includes all the essentials AND a healthy dose of resourcefulness, which is never a bad thing.
Jessie made my GLAM dream come true for my wedding! She did amazing not only on my bridal make up but on my bridesmaids and mother of the bride/mother of the groom. She was very punctual, traveled, and came prepared. She was able to quickly match skin tones and made everyone look beautiful. The products she used stayed on thru the entire day. If I could do it all over again I would surely call on Jessie!

How long does each service take?
Usually I like to schedule 45min per service to allow a bit of a buffer time to complete.
Airbrush or Traditional Makeup?
Airbrush application is a lightweight, waterproof foundation that is put on through use of a small air compressor. It photographs well, doesn’t feel cakey, and has a long wear. Traditional makeup application is applied with a beauty blender or foundation brush. This application is also long wear and customizable but often people who aren’t use to wearing makeup feel like this heavy despite not using a lot product.
How long will my style last?
Your makeup and hair will last through the night. After the complete party is done the artist will fine tune any details before departing to ensure your look will last.
Do I really need a trial?
While trials are not totally necessary, they are highly encouraged. Trials allow the artist to familiarize themselves with your hair and/or face and make tweaks prior to the big day. Hair and/or makeup can be worn throughout the day of the trial and any notes can be given to the artist to ensure a flawless and smooth wedding day. This allows us both to try the look before your big day to make sure it’s just right!
How many hours of coverage for weddings?
Hours of coverage include enough time to service the bridal party and allow for touch ups. Before your wedding day, we’ll iron out a timeline complete with the start and finish times for hair & makeup. With an “Off the Rack” package, I’ll stay for some quick touchups dependent on the timeline and then leave shortly after everyone is ready. With our Bridal Couture package, I’ll be on site with you for up to 8 hours to help make your day run as smooth as possible while you look like the best version of you.
My bridal party is diverse. Can you handle all skin tones/hair types?
Yes! Jessie prides herself in the ability to accommodate ALL guests comfortably! Over the years, she’s worked with a range of diverse hair textures and skin tones.

What's your travel fee?
I understand how stressful it is trying to budget and continually seeing a number go up as you tack on more required service requests so I’ve tried to simplify that process and include the travel fee into the overall price you see within a certain distance (up to 30 miles from my salon in Greenville, SC).
